Reflect

Write…

  • One parallel sentence in which the parallel parts contain one word each.
  • One parallel sentence in which the parallel parts contain two words each.
  • One parallel sentence in which the parallel parts contain three words each.
  • One parallel sentence in which the parallel parts contain four words each.
  • One theme from the text and tell where in the story you see it.

Assess…

4 = I have mastered this
3 = I can do it, but it takes some thought and time
2 = I am starting to get it, but I don’t have it yet.
1 = I’m still lost

Can you recognize and write parallel sentences?
Can you see themes in the text and give evidence for the themes?
